VELDECOR by OIKOS is a semi-siloxane paint, designed for the production of glazes decorative exterior and interior. Working the product with brush, sea sponge or glove by OIKOS is possible to reproduce the workings of the old plaster from fine aesthetic effects. This peculiarity together with the special features of composition make VELDECOR particularly suitable for the decoration and renovation of historic centers and prestigious buildings. VELDECOR is the finishing product for: DECORSIL ROME, FLORENCE, COLOR FINISH, ARCHITAL, Neoquarz and ELASTRONG PAINT GUM by OIKOS, with which ensures media outstanding impermeability to rain water and high vapor permeability, preventing formation of mold and algae. If you require further prevention against algae and mold you may want to add to the product the special additive sanitizing STERYLPLUS low odor, non-flammable, and environmentally friendly.

Surface preparation
The media recommended for exterior and interior are DECORSIL ROME, FLORENCE, COLOR FINISH, ARCHITAL, Neoquarz and ELASTRONG PAINT GUM by OIKOS. The supports are recommended only for internal ULTRASATEN MATT, MULTIFUND, EXTRAPAINT or KREOS by OIKOS.
Methods of application
The application varies depending on the effect to be obtained:
-Effect Nuvolato: apply VELDECOR with a brush, then work it, still wet with Sponge or Glove by OIKOS.
Antique-effect: apply a small amount of VELDECOR with a short bristled brush, crossing the brush strokes.
On both processes, you can apply a second coat after about 6 to 8 hours.
