SurfaMix C
SurfaMix C is an additive adhesion water-based , latex-free , for cement mortar , leaks , stucco and plaster , which increases the adhesion and anchorage to surfaces. It also increases the elasticity and reduces the cracks , shrinkage and the formation of capillaries that absorb water.
SurfaMix C is the adhesion additive for cement ideal for interior and exterior wall cladding , mortars for remodeling , repair and reconstruction , escapes and as an agent that improves the adhesives (glues ) used for the installation of tiles and stones . Reduces dust on the surfaces of industrial flooring and can be used as a primer ( primer ) to improve adhesion to surfaces. SurfaMix C improves workability and prolongs the processing time of the mixture. Additionally, it reduces the water absorption of 70%.
In any cement mixture the addition of water is essential for the preparation , the outlet and the development of mechanical strength . The water promotes a process called hydration . During hydration , the cement particles react with each other and produce a solid phase resistant and durable . In many cases the hydration process is inefficient and results in the appearance of cracks extended , the failure or the low adhesion of the hardened cement .
The active ingredients of SurfaMix C controls the hydration process and prevent the narrowing and the consequent failure of the final product . At the same time , an extensive network of material fills the empty spaces of the cement favoring the adhesion to the surface and binder properties .
SurfaMix C reduces dust on surfaces. The final appearance of the treated material remains unchanged , even if its elasticity and its mechanical properties are improved. Nanoparticles with hydrophobic properties are of the pores of the mixture and reduce the absorption of water . This process causes the stucco , plaster and concrete surfaces are very resistant to weathering . For example , prevents unwanted moisture , which can be traced through the structure ( ie rising damp ) or penetrate from the outside ( ie condensation) . Finally, the hardened cement mixture is more corrosion resistant surface , the water pressure , to the threat of ice and to extreme weather conditions . The addition of SurfaMix C allows to reduce or eliminate the use of the mixture of other binding agents (ie lime )
Application on the surface : When you apply a cement mixture on an existing surface , increase the adhesion by applying SurfaMix C , with a brush or roller. The application surface must be dry and clean . SurfaMix C can be diluted with water at a ratio up to 1: 5 (1 part SurfaMix C and 4 parts water) .

Mixing: add SurfaMix C directly into the cement mixture , because of 5-10 % by weight of cement used . Alternatively , add 2.5 to 5 kg of SurfaMix C per 50 kg of cement .
