application Cycle
UNPAINTED EXTERNAL WALL SURFACES: Brush thoroughly, removing all traces of dust and dirt and bits of loose plaster. Level the imperfections (holes, cracks or crazing) using Fibre-reinforced Antiritiro Stuccotone Malta. Check that the wall is completely dry and apply a coat of acrylic fixative. After 4-6 hours, apply at least two coats of Opalith Techno. In the case of very powdery or partially degraded treat the entire surface with fixative Solvent (transparent or pigmented).
PAINTED EXTERNAL WALL SURFACES: Remove all traces of loose paint perfectly and efflorescence, in the presence of mold should be treated with Micosteryl Micosteryl 1 and 2. Carefully clean off any dust or dirt and fill imperfections with Stuccotone Malta Antiritiro Fibre-reinforced. Check that the wall is perfectly dry and fix the whole surface with acrylic fixative, after 4-6 hours, apply at least two coats of Opalith Techno.
UNPAINTED INTERNAL WALLS (new cured plaster, pre-fabricated panels, new gypsum): Brush down to remove dust and loose plaster fragments. Level the imperfections (holes, cracks or crazing) using Stuccotone paste or powder, operating smoothing afterwards. After 2-6 hours from? Last sand down the filled portions and clean thoroughly. In most cases, apply a coat of fixative Acrylic, after 4-6 hours, apply at least two coats of Opalith Techno. In the case of new gypsum and loose surfaces apply the acrylic fixative in one or more coats to obtain a compact surface without film formation.
INTERNAL WALLS PAINTED WITH PAINT TOUGHENED: If the surface is not particularly chalking, clean the surface thoroughly, any imperfections, sand and dust. Apply a coat of fixative Acrylic and after 4-6 hours, apply at least two coats of Opalith Techno. In the case of tempera paint chalking proceed to the removal of the film, apply a coat or two coats of acrylic fixative to obtain a compact surface without formation of film, after 4-6 hours proceed to apply 2 coats of Opalith Techno .
INTERNAL WALLS PAINTED WITH WASHABLE PAINTS: Clean the surface carefully, any imperfections, sand and dust. Bind the filled parts with a coat of acrylic fixative after 4-6 hours, apply at least two coats of Opalith Techno.
Practical advice: Do not apply to surfaces exposed to direct sunlight or wind. If the supports are very absorbent inner apply a coat of fixative Acrylic, outdoors apply fixative solvent. Environmental and surface conditions:
