Technical qualities

Neoquarz by Oikos is a special acrylic paint for exterior quartz washable. Its formulation combines the resistance properties of quartz with the special qualities of acrylic resins such as: mechanical resistance to cycles of freezing and thawing, resistance to UV rays and acids, high breathability, water repellency, weather resistance, excellent coverage. Available in a wide range of colors, Neoquarz gives the walls a smooth matt finish, particularly suitable for the protection and decoration of prestige buildings, even in harsh climate. If the need for greater prevention against algae and mold you may want to add the product to the appropriate additive sanitizing STERYLPLUS. Odorless, non-flammable and environmentally friendly.

Surface preparation

On old or previously painted surfaces, remove deposits of dust, smog or other impurities by brushing or washing. Remove any loose or flaking, then apply a coat of the special primer NEOKRYLL by Oikos. Wait 4 ÷ 6 hours until dry. New surfaces should be thoroughly dry and mature and then apply one coat of primer BLANKOR by OIKOS to improve adhesion and render the absorption. Wait 6 ÷ 8 hours until dry.

Implementing rules

Apply two coats of Neoquarz diluted with 20 ÷ 30% drinkable water after 6 hours of each other with a brush, roller or spray gun (1.7 mm nozzle).

Finishes

To give the surface a haze effect can be applied to the dry surface one coat of VELDECOR by OIKOS refining it with brush, sponge or glove by OIKOS.

Technical characteristics: the application

Dilution: 20 ÷ 30% with drinkable water.

Yield: 4 ÷ 5 m² / l in two coats, depending on the type of support

Tools d'application: brush, roller or spray gun (1.7 mm nozzle)

Fixatives: NEOKRYLL, BLANKOR, by OIKOS

Application temperature: + 5 ° C to + 36 ° C (with relative humidity not exceeding 80%)

Drying time: tack free 2 ÷ 3 h (temperature = 20 ° C with relative humidity at 75%)

Drying time: 24 hours (temperature = 20 ° C with relative humidity at 75%)
